At 10^th Planet Hobart we providea family friendly, supportive, safe, clean and enjoyable learning environment, focusing on delivering everything that 10^th Planet Jiu Jitsusystem has to offer. Mastering the Warm ups class runs daily, classes are provided for Kids, Teens, Adults from Beginners to Advanced and private tuition by appointment. The Coaches at 10th Planet Hobart strive to produce an environment that, whatever the age or experience level, you can take your game to the next level!

10^th Planet Hobart owners Jeremy and Natalie Frankcombeare a husband and wife team who commenced their martial arts journeys in the Korean grappling art of GKYS, earing their 1^st degree Black Belts in 2011.

Jem and Nat have trained directly underFrank Barca, Australia’s first 10^th Planet Jiu Jitsu Black belt and owner of 10^th Planet Jiu Jitsu Melbourne since 2009 and 2010 respectively, traveling from Tasmania to Melbourne multiple times a year to enhance their skillset and to compete.

In April 2011 they opened their first grappling school,Hobart No-Gi Grappling which was solely dedicated to the submission only, sport style of grappling.

In April 2017 they affiliated under Eddie Bravo with the guidance and support of Frank Barca and opened 10^th Planet Hobart, the third 10^th Planet Jiu Jitsu Moon in Australia and the first 10^th Planet Jiu Jitsu affiliate in the state of Tasmania.

Jeremy (AKA Jem)
Jemis the head coach at 10^th Planet Hobart. Jem received his blue belt from Frank Barca in 2014.
Like his mentor, Jem is obsessed with the beauty, intricacies and technical details of the 10^th Planet System and it his passion to instillthis knowledge inhis students. In addition to this, Jem is a regular competitor, with multiple podium placings locally and nationally, including the Grappling Industries Advanced divisions and has competed in Tasmania’s first ever submission only invitational.

Natalie (AKA Nat)
Nat is the assistant coach at 10^th Planet Hobart. She was the first person to be ranked in the 10^th Planet Jiu Jitsu system within Tasmania and received her purple belt from Frank Barca in 2016. Nat is one of Tasmania’s highest ranked female Jiu Jitsupractitioners in Tasmania and is one of Tasmania’s most prolific competitors. In addition to this, she frequently competes on the national circuit, being a 3x Grappling Industries Absolute Champion and has wins against some of Australia’s best female and world class grapplers.
