Tracy has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Combat Submission Wrestling since 2008 and earned his 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu black belt from Adlai Cleveland in 2021. His vast grappling background includes techniques from gi and no-gi Jiu Jitsu, submission wrestling, Judo & Sambo. Tracy is able to combine techniques from these various styles to create a fun and creative learning environment for his students. If you have no experience or are an avid competitor, you can always look forward to learning something new in Tracy’s classes. Additionally, Tracy has an extensive background in athletic training and coaching as an award-winning track coach. Throughout his over 30 years of experience, Tracy has produced countless champions and scholar athletes, and is dedicated to bringing the same energy and attention to detail to the Jiu Jitsu mats.

We are located in the heart of downtown Detroit minutes away from Quicken Loans HQ, Campus Martius Park, Westin Book Cadillac Hotel, Comerica Park & Ford Field. We are partnered with “Crossfit in the D” to bring you BJJ classes Monday through Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9pm. Our massive facility houses one of metro Detroit’s largest Crossfit gyms, a juice and smoothie bar, full locker rooms with showers, and over 2,000 sq feet of Jiu Jitsu mats.
